Sunflakes

The sparkling rays of sun 
Softly fall down on my skin
While squalls of warm wind 
Carry them all over the street

It dazzles my eyes
But it warms my heart
While I walk down this street
Lightened by the sky

It makes me forget
The sound of cars passing by
Leaving only the buzzing of bees
And the chirping of birds

As the sparkling rays of sun
Slowly begin to disappear
My heart becomes colder
The sound of cars becomes harder

But I walk towards the horizon
Right towards the leaving sun
So I let the shadows behind me
I let them where they begun.
